Lofoten Trip Day 6
Last day in Lofoten! Doing Festvågtind and staying in Svolvaer on the way home!
Heyo Adventurers! Day 6 of my Lofoten blog is here!
I knew this was going to be a great day from the beginning since i had a small-ish roadtrip with some people from the hostel planned! Also had a great time during breakfast, we all sat on the oceanside bridge and ate and had great conversations!
Shoutout to Alejandra and Felicia for a nice roadtrip and to everyone else at the hostel for a lovely time!
After the small-ish roadtrip i decided to hike the Festvågtind hike (more like a climb) before heading to my next stop in Svolvaer for the England vs Norway football game.
This is the wall of rocks that start the hike, it is a little hard to see how steep it is from the pictures, but it felt basically vertical at times!
After a few rocks you can see Henningsvaer in the distance, and the blue water of course.

After the first wall of rocks you arrive at a flat section with a small lake, super pretty!

Then the ascend continues on to an even steeper path up to the Festvågtind peak.
The views were beautiful!
The rocks, that were absolutely not sticking as well as one would have hoped lol, felt a little scetchy at times

It actually started getting kind of cold halfway up so had to get some extra layers on mid hike!

And like so many times before on this trip i headed into the clouds! They were really low at times sadly!
This is the quality of the path at the end, a vertical muddy slip and slide!
At the top! 541 meters above sea level!
And now down again!
I haven't really talked much about my gear along this hike, not that it really matters but these Vivibarefoot Flow Mid 2's did wonders for the hikes i did!
Zooming in on Henningsvaer, the iconic football field at the very edge of the island formation looms kind of out of place and really cool!
That's actually it for my time in Lofoten!
After this day i stayed at a (very overpriced) hotel in Svalvaer, watched the football game at the local with some locals and some tourists that i had gotten in contact with during the trip!
Even though Norway lost the football game and that there was a lot of Type 3 Fun involved, this trip was a success for sure!
But that's it! I don't know how much i will blog until my next crazy adventure begins, but as always:
